Websites for hotels, restaurants and venues
A room sold through an online travel agency, such as Booking.com or Expedia, carries a commission. A room sold on your own website does not carry that commission, and the guest's details come to you. Hotel and restaurant website design in Dubai is largely about that difference. The guest who has already found you needs a reason to book direct and a quick way to do it. For restaurants and venues, the same holds for reservations and event enquiries.
01What makes this sector different
Many travellers find a hotel on a travel agency site, then search for it by name. If your own site is slow, vague about price or awkward on a phone, they go back and book through the agency. You pay commission on a guest who came to your door.
A PDF menu is hard to read on a phone. The browser cannot translate it for a visitor, and search engines read it poorly. When a dish or a price changes, someone has to find the designer.
A visitor deciding where to eat tonight is often on a roaming connection or shared wifi. A home page that opens with a heavy video may never finish loading for them. The photography has to look rich and still arrive quickly.
Ramadan, Eid, the winter season, summer offers for residents, brunches and festive menus. Each needs a page, a booking route and an end date. Without a system, old offers stay online and new ones go up late.
02What we build
A booking engine is the software that shows room availability and takes the reservation. The site is planned around the one you already use. SiteMinder, SynXis and Cloudbeds are common examples. The guest arrives there with dates and room type already chosen.
Every dish, description, price and allergen note is entered as text in the content system. Your team can change a price in a minute. Search engines can read the dishes, the browser can translate them, and the page opens quickly.
Reservations can connect to the system your restaurant already uses, for example SevenRooms or OpenTable. A simple request form, confirmed by your host, is the alternative. Opening hours, dress code and location sit beside the booking button, where guests look for them.
Weddings, corporate events and private dining have their own pages, with capacities, floor plans and sample menus. The enquiry form asks for the date, guest numbers and type of event. Your events team can then give a useful answer in the first reply.
Images are resized for each screen, served in modern formats and loaded as the guest scrolls. Video starts only on a connection that can carry it. We test on a mid-range phone over a slowed mobile connection before launch. How we measure speed is covered under SEO and performance.
Seasonal offers are built from a template your marketing team fills in, in English and Arabic. Each page has a publish date and an expiry date. When the offer ends, the page redirects to current offers without anyone having to remember.

Questions
By removing the reasons guests leave. Show the price early, with taxes and fees included. Keep the booking button visible on every page. State plainly what a guest gains by booking direct, if you offer anything. Make sure the site opens quickly on a phone.
None of this guarantees a result, and we do not promise one. It does mean that a guest who searches for your hotel by name finds a site as easy to use as the travel agency's.
A web page. Text on a page can be read by search engines, translated by the browser, enlarged by the visitor and updated by your staff. A PDF does none of these well on a phone.
If you want a printable version, the site can generate one from the same text, so the two never disagree.
In most cases, yes. Booking engines and reservation systems generally offer either a link that carries the guest's dates across, or a widget that sits inside your page. Which one applies depends on your provider and your plan with them.
We check this in discovery, the first stage of our process, and show you what the handover will look like before design begins.
Google publishes a set of measures called Core Web Vitals. One of them, Largest Contentful Paint, records how long the main element on screen takes to appear. Google's threshold for a good result is 2.5 seconds.
We test against those measures on a mid-range phone with a slowed connection, and you receive the report. A site led by photography can pass. It takes discipline over image sizes and video.
With a campaign template. Your team fills in the offer, dates, images and booking link, in English and Arabic. The page goes live on the start date and is withdrawn on the end date.
Old campaign addresses redirect to the current offers page, so a link shared last year still arrives somewhere useful. A care plan can cover the updates if your team would rather not.
